Transport for NSW - Burwood Offices
The TfNSW Burwood Project, delivered by Aeron Group, marks a significant milestone in Transport for NSW’s transition to sustainable transport infrastructure. This initiative showcases our commitment to delivering high-performance electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions that meet stringent government standards and future-proof urban mobility.
The project involved the supply and installation of 11 x 22kW AC Electric Vehicle Chargers, supported by a new 250A Electric Vehicle Charger Main Distribution Board (EVC-MDB).
Aeron Group adhered to all TfNSW Electric Vehicle Charger Installation Specifications, including:
- Dynamic Load Management Systems.
- Integration with Fire Detection Systems.
- Car Space Painting and Signage.
- Space Management with Bollards and Wheel Stoppers.
- Climate Change Policy alignment.
All installations were certified to IEC standards, with dedicated metering for accurate energy tracking and billing. The chargers support Mode 3 AC charging and comply with ROHS, End-of-Life, and Environmental Profile certifications.
The project was a collaborative effort between Aeron Group and TfNSW, with proactive site coordination, real-time tracking systems, and risk mitigation strategies ensuring timely and compliant delivery. Our teams managed all permits, site preparations, and stakeholder communications to streamline execution across multiple sites.

NSW Health - Orange Hospital
At Aeron Group, we’re proud to support NSW Health’s sustainability and electrification goals through the successful delivery of a cutting-edge EV charging infrastructure upgrade at Orange Health Service in regional New South Wales. The Orange Hospital campus now features a robust EV charging solution designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable transport in healthcare settings. This project is part of a broader initiative to future-proof NSW Health facilities with smart, energy-efficient infrastructure.
Our scope included the installation of:
- 1 x Schneider Pro DC 60kW Charger.
- 1 x Schneider Pro AC Dual 22kW Charger.
- 5CP Dynamic Load Management System.
- Schneider EcoStruxure PAS600 Panel Server with Power Tags for real-time current monitoring.
These upgrades ensure optimal energy distribution and monitoring, enabling efficient and scalable EV charging for hospital staff and fleet vehicles.
The project involved:
- Replacement of a non-essential distribution board.
- Installation of heavy-duty conduit and cable containment.
- Trenching via Hydro Vac and hand digging to minimize disruption to hospital operations.
A planned shutdown was executed and affecting only non-essential services. This was carefully coordinated with NSW Health stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted patient care.
Aeron Group is proud to contribute to a greener, smarter healthcare system—one project at a time.

Transport for NSW - Russell Vale Depot
The TfNSW Russell Vale Project is a flagship initiative by Aeron Group in partnership with Transport for NSW, aimed at accelerating the transition to electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure across the state. This project involves the installation of a 60kW Schneider Pro DC EV Charger and the upgrade of critical electrical infrastructure to support future-ready transport solutions.
Our team was engaged to deliver a comprehensive package of works, including:
- Installation of a new Main Distribution Board (MDB-Admin) and replacement of the Mechanical Services Switchboard (DB-MSSB).
- Trenching and conduit installation using hand or hydro vac excavation to protect existing underground services.
- Integration of the EV charger into the site’s electrical network, ensuring compliance with AS/NZS3000:2018 and AS/NZS 61439:2016 standards.
The Russell Vale Depot has been equipped with EcoStruxure Energy Hub, a subscription-based energy management platform. This system:
- Tracks energy consumption and generation from local PV cells.
- Provides hourly and daily insights into energy usage.
- Supports future upgrades like microgrids and battery energy storage systems (BESS) for improved ROI and sustainability.
This project supports TfNSW’s broader sustainability goals:
- The EV charger installation is part of a statewide push to electrify fleet depots.
- Infrastructure upgrades were designed to accommodate future enhancements, including battery storage and microgrid integration.
- The project aligns with the NSW Government’s SCM13381 Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Scheme.
